I hacnt' come outwith any updtes recetly.

I'm logd in with tledo, login.

My dad's house just lost power.

I don't know when the server will be back online. I'll keep you guys posted.

Server has been restored.

I'm gonna start work on a better VL website, and a login system, as well a a way to view profiles through the website.
I'll also buy a domain for VL.

Two things, one about the system tray thing, and another about a bug.
1. Will hitting the close button (the X in the upper right) minimize it to system tray or just minimizing it?
2. When I exit VL, the screen goes all black for a few seconds, the mouse is visible and sound still continues, and the screen returns shortly after, I'm running windows 7 pro.

About the X button, unfortunately I don't think that Game Maker gives me control over what it does.

yes, in the new VL website which is coming out soon, I address that screen issue.

There is no fix for the issue yet. I know why it happens though: If your computer uses a SHARED video memory (llike instead of dedicated video memory), then ANY game, not just VL, will make the screen flash on exit. Some games won't though, because their resources are in external files.

Do NOT Use the updater to get this new version! Go to the VL website to get it. VirtuaLife is in ZIP format for now and will no longer use the updater for a while.

New features in 0.0.2:
1. You can now paste in the chatbox by right-clicking.

2. The launch of the chatbox is optional.

3. SYSTEM TRAY ICON - If you double-click the systray icon, VirtuaLife will hid itself. Whenever something happens, like someone logs in, or people start chatting, the icon will change colors.

4. The chatbox auto-closes when you get back to the main VL client... This was needed for a bug fix.

5. Now, when you switch to the chatbox, the last 20 lines of chat are uploaded so you never miss a conversation.

6. The PM user button has now been changed to a User List button.. This is so you can view anyone's profile. Then from the profile, you can send them a PM.

7. BUG FIX - Screen no longer flashes on VirtuaLife exit... Although I think it's happening with the chatbox. Not sure.

8. New WEBSITE! Check it out!
