Re: What do you code in?
For games, only GML. I'm not, hmmm, devoted(?) enough to learn another language, and find that GML does enough for me.
For websites, I use HTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ActionScript.

Re: What do you code in?
C/C++, GML, Java, JavaScript, CSS, (X)HTML, and PHP. I only know the syntax of the web-programming languages though, I don't know many theories or algorithms for achieving certain effects with them. I DO know, however, that JavaScript hates me.

I know: GML, HTML, and CSS. I only really use GML though.

Re: What do you code in?
GML, HTML, CSS, ASP (have forgotten it though...), and some VBScript.

Re: What do you code in?
I know:
GML (though I hardly ever use it anymore), HTML, XHTML, CSS, PHP (+MySQL), Javascript (mainly to create greasemonkey scripts).
I've started to learn:
Python (stopped for awhile, will probably pick it up again later) and Actionscript (waiting till I get a better computer to continue to learn)

Re: What do you code in?
Speaking of actionscript, are you using it for flash? I tried flash a bit but I got bored because of the drawn-animation-based nature of the program (being that I'm pretty poor with graphics). I'm curious to know what another user who started with GM thinks of it.
I managed to make a simple basketball-based animation but it was really random...a guy gets a basketball stuck between the rim and backboard...and then a pterodactyl comes and eats it.
...Yeah.

Yeah, I didn't get that far into it though. It seemed pretty easy the part that I got into.SoulRed12 wrote:Speaking of actionscript, are you using it for flash? Re: What do you code in?
Hmmm...
Web: HTML, JavaScript, PHP, CGI
Stand-alone: GML, DarkBASIC Pro, C++, ASM, ShellScript, COBOL XD
Shared: Java
COBOL is not a language I actively use. ShellScript is something I've not used for a while, but I remember a lot of it.

What exactly is COBOL? I know it's something to do with business...I think.

Re: What do you code in?
Yeah, it's on the same tier as Fortran, programming-wise.
It's a no-longer used language people used to index information for companies, like addresses, and phone numbers, etc.

It's always nice to know dead languages. Just like the 80's fashions, they might someday come back! XD

Re: What do you code in?
C++ FTW. Nothing beats it in game programming these days
